WTC Twin Tower, was 'nt it an engineering wonder?
On September 11, 2001, large heavy aircraft weighting around 225,000 pounds traveling about 300-400 mph hit these buildings and on the initial collision, they stood still.
Now imagine the forces that the building had to absorb and it still did not noticeably bend or shift upon the initial contact. I think it is an engineering marvel.
It took many explosions to bring these buildings down and interestingly it did not fall off to the side as it would have been expected. I would have assumed that the large collision would have weakened something and cause it to fall on the direction of the weak side.
What do you think?

It most certainly did noticeably shift upon initial contact!!!!!! Doesn't look like it on the video, I know, but ask anyone of us who was inside--it felt like it was going over sideways, and you could tell in the stairwells that it was leaning--your feet weren't hitting the stairs right. Besides that, you could hear this horrible groaning and clanging from the steel, and we who worked there knew that the steel wasn't supposed to sound like that (it just creaked back and forth, softer or louder depending upon the wind.) Water was pouring down the stairs from the broken pipes. I even know two people who were in the ladies room at impact and the toilets broke away from the walls.
At impact, people were knocked out of their chairs onto the floor if they were sitting at their desks. People like me who were walked went sideways and struggled to keep our balance, The impact was huge.

I think it was a well-made tower and all the questions being asked by the 911 truthers have already been answered, in detail.
I think you should continue repeatedly posting this, and others should repeatedly say:
"Please research this, folks:
1) read the official government site data on the official sites.
2) read the ANTI-conspiracy sites.
3) finally, and last, read the conspiracy sites.
You...Will...LAUGH!
Educate yourselves on all sides of this issue, folks. It will make it SO much easier to deal with future nonsense of this sort.
You never see a conspiracy buff sharing official sites and answering the anti-conspiracy sites. They avoid it, want to post only one side.
DO check all sides.
Just read the anti-conspiracy sites first so you don't fall down the rabbit hole.

The twin towers where a wonder and now a days most buildings are made to withstand earthquakes etc they move with what they have too move and if they go down they will go straight down .
Source(s): I read about it and I seen a show on TV , there is one building in St. Louis that the structure moves on pads so it does not just fall over and a flood will not make the foundation weak . - Anonymous1 decade ago
I think it does not fit the official US government theory. Today I reached a link to the DC Comic Book thta featured planes hitting the World Trade Center. This was a new comic "coincidentally" released on 9/11. Somebody is really super confident, I say that. These comic books are probably written, drawn and published in China nowadays. It is those evil Muslims and Mexicans you know who are overrunning us these final days..

If you look at what happened after the collisions you would know it was because of a flawed design that they came down at all.
