Nintendo Wii won't work?

I have a Nintendo Wii. I BARELY use it, not even every two days because I didn't like very many of the games. Then, the game that I really wanted was for sale. So, I just got it today for Christmas and my Wii won't work!! :( I checked all outlets and wires, nothing. It's happened before but it just started working again. I don't know what to do. It's really pissing me off. Thought about selling it and getting a new one, but Gamestop will only give me a maximum of $65 for it, and it originally costed $250!! And a new console would be $200, and a refurbished one would be $115. They make a killing in profits and it pisses me off. What can I do? I don't want to sell it as a ripoff for $65......

Often, the nintendo has power issues due to one of the accessories plugged into it (including the sensor bar and the power adapter). It can be frustrating to try to see which one is causing the problem. I always get mine to turn back on by unplugging everything from it, and unplugging the power adapter from the wall (very important to do as the power adapter will not reset if it isn't unplugged from the power source).

When you plug everything back in, be sure to do it power adapter first and make sure the block on the power adapter is laying on a flat surface. Then plug in the sensor, and any other accessories you have on it and try turning it on.

It can be very sensitive, so try the process several times before you give up. Good luck..
