TOO MUCH CRYING & OUT OF BREATH.. My grandson would be one year old on December 28. He's healthy & doing well?

but when he cries, he cries so hard that he ultimately stops breathing & just stay limp. We would perform mouth to mouth resuscitation and swab water in his face and let him drink water until he revives. Just this christmas morning, he stopped breathing for almost 3 minutes. WHAT DO YOU THINK IS HIS AILMENT??? What is the best way to revive him when he can't breath? Would giving him water worsen his condition? What's the proper way of giving mouth to mouth resuscitation? I'm afraid that blowing in his mouth too hard might make his young lungs collapse. Please help me to protect this wonderful child. THANK YOU SO MUCH..................MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughters do the same thing but they don't go limp. I just blow in their mouth, not like cpr but just blow in, and say Breathe and that works to make them scream again.

I suggest talking to his doctor at his 1 yr check up about it. And also getting baby CPR certified.

Then you have to make him not cry. Some kids get so worked up that they make themselves stop breathing and they cry for no reason. I would talk to a Doctor b/c my nephew had this and the doctors helped him with it!
