Should a turkey blister?
Just got the turkey out of the oven, and I picked it up with an oven glove on, it has burnt my finger so I now have a huge blister.

lol well it wasnt really the turkey that blistered or made the blister on your finger
it was the hot pan you grabbed, your oven glove must be old and didnt have enough protection against the heat

Do not worry. It is just a natural phenomena. A turkey meat, being warm contains extra heat. The blister will go away eventually.

Poultry skin will blister when too close to the heat source during baking or grilling.
