okay the 1st amendment is about free speech.

now that is clear, you really should organized your thoughts and put them into effective and orderly communication to get your idea across. oh spelling counts,

I know i don't use caps often. that is my bad i am working on it. thank you very much -... ....

  • It's tough to tell exactly what you're asking, without any capitalization or punctuation, but if I'm reading it right, you're upset because you had to get a permit for something where you were going to be speaking--am I right?

Usually if you're doing something where you expect to draw a crowd, you have to get a permit. Not because it's a permit for "free speech", but it's a permit so the city knows how big a crowd you're anticipating, so they know if they need to bring in extra police for crowd control, make sure you have enough porta-potties, and that kind of stuff.

The liberals would love it if a permit were required for free speech. But they would also believe that they should be exempt from the permit.

If you shoot words at someone that person doesn't generally die. If you shoot a gun at someone there's a good chance they will. Gun permits exist so someone who will use that gun to shoot people maliciously can't. That's the difference between free speech and guns.

And if you say words can kill people, you do indeed get arrested if you incite violence...

I'd suggest your work on coherent speech first.
