I feel the same way every year :( especially this year, because this is my 8th grade year and i'm completely stressed out with schoolwork and the hard decision between two highschools that i really want to go to. But for me, i like filling the remainder of christmas break with friends and positive activities. I think the whole problem with the ending of the holiday season is being let down and not having anything positive to look foreward to. But i remind myself that it will soon get better and i can only look foreward to living life to the fullest in the new year. I probably didnt help much, but just felt like sharing my opinion. :)

Actually Craig, I'm sad through Christmas much of the time lately. I work at the local New Orleans Airport and when I see the money wasted on so much junk for each other and the kids and the stores with customers trampling over each other to save a few dollars , this all makes me very sad indeed...For those who concentrate on God and Son and family ....Kudos to all, but for those who don't have their priorities in order...Shame!

yes! i always get sad every year after christmas. i mean ive been excited ever since school started back in August. and ever since november 1st, christmas decorations were everywhere, christmas music, 25 days of christmas, santa claus at the mall yeah i swear when i went to the mall today, santa wasnt there but the christmas tree was still there, and christmas music is still playing until new years so thats good! but it feels odd after christmas. no more commercials, no more movies, tv shows, or anything! i just wish christmas stuff could last until january 9th so it can keep my mood going!

I always get sad after christmas, it's like everyone was so nice and everything was so happy, then it just crashes back to reality :/
Ahh well, i'm looking forward to more time off school. And New Years, although i don't do a lot but the new start is always nice to have. I'm actually surprisingly good at keeping my new years resolutions, but i forgot to make one last year!

Tell her to get ready for the next year! All sorts of things lie in wait and the new year should be started optimisticly (I know I'm spelling that wrong)! Watch the new year count down with her, it will (hopfuly) get her excited!
