Where is my clipboard?
I recall finding it when I clicked on the "Start" button at the bottom left, but it seems to have totally disappeard. I can't find it under programs, etc. Is it possible that I may have deleted it by accident?

There are two things which you should not confuse: the Clipboard and the Clipboard Viewer. The Clipboard is not an application, it is a function. You cannot start the Clipboard, you can only use the Clipboard function. When you copy text for example, it is stored somewhere in memory so that you can paste it somewhere else again. The memory where it is stored is referred to as the Clipboard. To see what is stored temporarily in memory, such as the copied text, you use the Clipboard Viewer. On Windows XP you can find the Clipboard Viewer, if installed, under Start, All programs, Accessories by heart, or otherwise one level lower even under System Tools. The Clipboard Viewer is not included with Windows Vista and Windows 7 by heart. Without the Clipboard Viewer, to know what is temporarily stored on the Clipboard, simply choose Paste somewhere, for example in a text editor.
