Can I use glass etching on wood and if so how would that look?
I got the circuit Expression from my boyfriend for christmas and I want to etch an image on his head board on the bed. Its a very light blond wood and think that using black vynol would be to dark and not look good.
So I was wondering if I can use glass etching on the wood and would that look ok?

Do you have a Dremel? You could use your image as a template and trace it onto the headboard. Then go over the lines with the cone sanding bit to incise them. Just make sure the headboard is not a wood veneer first.
Glass and wood are totally different media, and products designed for one are not meant for use on another. Wood is very porous, glass is not.

I do not think glass etching compound would work on wood. Trace the image onto the wood, and sand just those spots. Apply woodstain in a light or medium shade.. I think that would be your best bet.
