Is there anyway to FORCE your body to start your period?

I haven't started my period yet but I am dying to! I really want to because everyone at my school has because I have overheard them talking or seen notes asking there friends if they have any extra tampons/pads. I have also heard that when you start your period you lose your “flat-chestedness”. (Or you get boobs) On the down side I've heard you get horny. Almost everyone at my school have been a hair away from getting pregnant or so they say. Anyway I haven't started my period yet and I want to very badly. Is there any way to FORCE my body to start my period? Remember I haven't started ever before and I still haven't. Please give me some answers!!

PS does starting your period hurt? What are some signs that I could watch for if I have to wait for it naturally?

Well some things women do who have already started their period but want to get it sooner (over and done with for some reason eg swimming) can drink green tea, that means like 8 cups a day, take vitamin C and/or masturbate/have sex. These probably wont work since you don't have a cycle going, but the harmless ones (not sex) you can give a go.

Your first period doesn't hurt, unless you are overweight. It is practically a smudge, they generally build up the more you have. There aren't many obvious signs you are about to get your period, my friend told me to look for armpit hair but I only noticed it during my first period.

I was also like you and desperately wanted my period. I had decided that when I would get my period I would use tampons straight away so that even if I had started late I was the most experienced of my friends. This worked for me and I do enjoy being the one who explains to them how to insert a tampon the right way :P

I would suggest to you to read around on the internet for period products like pads, tampons, liners, painkillers etc. Then you can choose which products you think will be best for you and be super ready for when you get it. Also carry pads with you so that you're ready and a friend might need to borrow one some day.

If you have your period or not it isn't a big deal. Your period is only 5 days of the month, and the other 25 days are exactly as your days are now. For all everyone else knows you just don't have your period at that current moment in time. If you really are that desperate you can pretend to have your period. Wear a pad and change it every 6 hours. No one will ever actually see the blood on your underwear so you can just tell people you have had it. But do not use tampons in this case! They must absorb blood or will be painful to remove and can make rips in your vaginal wall.

One last suggestion is to go on the pill. The pill is made up of hormones to balance your period and it is likely it will trigger it. I do not recommend this however.

Last thing is make sure you're using liners, whenever the special day comes you don't want to discover it by blood leaking through your dress.

You didn't give your age so I don't know how old you are or what's normal. Females can start their periods about anywhere from 10 to 16 years so there is a lot of lee way. I don't believe getting your period increases your sex drive. A period comes naturally. You can't force it.

Many women experience uterine cramps during their period, caused largely by the contractions of the uterine muscle as it expels blood from the woman's body. The period itself doesn't hurt. Some signs are blood on your underwear.

It isn't wise to force your body to do something like this, even if you could. Perhaps this whole waiting-for-the-period thing is nature's way of helping young girls to develop patience. Tall girls, and fairer girls tend to get theirs later... my daughter was 14, my sister was 16 (but she was diabetic... an endocrine disorder like that can make you develop a little later). Everyone gets theirs eventually, and at about 13 or 14, girls get bored with talking about it, they will just assume you have it. My daughter kept a few pads and extra underwear in her locker and her friends assumed she had it because of that (it's not a bad idea, because the first one often sneaks up on you, and being prepared is a good thing).

If most of your friends are sexually active and have had pregnancy scares, you should be thinking seriously about condom usage (every time, even if you use other birth control), and another form of birth control as well (the pill, depo shot, the patch, even just spermicidal foam or film which you can buy at the pharmacy and use with the condom). Having babies is for adults; having fun is for teens. All things in their own time, you will be happiest. Learn to take good care of yourself first.

    1) any way to force yourself to get it, probably isnt a good idea

    2) you really dont want it. you feel disgusting and sick when you have it. you are always self conscious of bleeding through your clothes. you wont always know exactly when you get it... and you do bleed through clothes (awk!). tampons are usually fine but if you have a heavy flow like me sticking a super plus one up there definitely isnt the best. you feel sore and have bad workouts when on your period. sometimes it will skip a few months and you will be scared to death that something is wrong.

im not trying to scare you, its not that bad... i just hate it.

WAIT NATURALLY! You dont WANT to start. it sucks. You ruin underwear, jeans, you get really smelly, and trust me, it sucks. Some start late, it will come. Be LUCKY you dont have it yet. If you're really skinny, you wont "grow" fast. if you notice, all the chicks with big breasts are a little chunky. If you want to force yourself, you can stuck something sharp up there and hope something happens.

Hun, you don't want it. Trust me. It's horrible. It has stuff to do with your genes so ask ur mom when she got it. You'll probably get it then. Most girls get it around 13-14 around then.
