What computer specs do you recommend for AutoCAD 2010?
I am currently a student and I know the basics about pc systems. I will be doing simple 2D drawings and 3D renderings. I dont want to know the manufacturers requirements. I'd like to know what kind of processor and graphics card would run CAD smoothly, and for a long time, along with everyday internet use. I was thinking i3 or i5 or some type of duo core, 2.5 GHz and up.

Core 2 duo, 2GB RAM and 1G Video Card...enough for 2D/3D task (as minimum specs)

You're not saying WHICH AutoCAD 2010 you're talking about, so I have to refer you to their website for YOU to find the specs.
Then Click on the following / Support / and then / Support & Documentation /
Find the product you own.
Click on / Knowledge Base /.
Scroll down to where you see Documentation.
Click on / System Requirements /.

System requirements depend on your Operating System. You can find the system requirements for your OS by the link below.
