1996 buick park ave interior lights come on for no reason?

why does my interior lights on my 96 park ave come on and stay on in freezing temperatures. it also seems to go out when the car warms up, i mostly find this when i wake up in the morning after a freezing night to find that they are on. any thing is helpfull

    I also had a park ave and it's wirring was buggy too. The radio lights would short on and off. I think its just the car, but if you're worried about it have it checked out; you can usually get that done for free.

    Faulty door jamb switch most likely. Or you have the wires to it grounding out/shorting.

    Water will conduct electricity. If moisture is getting inside the switch it could freeze and bridge the contacts. Soon as it warms up the moisture melts and no more contact.

    Shoot some WD-40 on each one (4) it will displace the moisture and lube the switch.

    Works a lot of the time.

    You might check door jam switches.
