For cheesy goodness, this never fails:

    Cheese Toasts

    Party rye breads

4oz, about, of shredded cheese - cheddar or jack are tasty.

    A little grated onion

    Mayo - the real thing

    Dash of oregano powder

Mix the cheese, onion and mayo in a small bowl. Apply thinly to the rye bread rounds. Place on a foil-lined cookie sheet; broil for about 3-4 minutes, until cheese is golden in spots. Serve warm or room temp.

    Best wishes.

Take some salami and put a bit of cream cheese on it, add a jalapeno, fold it in half and put a toothpick in. You can do some with just the cream cheese for those who don't like jalapenos. Never had them (not a big fan of this type of thing) but everyone else seems to love them.

    - Oreo Truffles -

    http://www.yourhomebasedmom.com/sweet-treats-oreo-...

1 16 oz. package of Oreos, divided. Total of 45 oreos

1 8 oz. package of cream cheese, softened

Crush 9 Oreos in blender and set aside. Crush remaining 36 Oreos. Beat cream cheese until smooth and add 36 crushed Oreos. Beat until well mixed. Form into 1 inch balls and then roll in remaining crushed Oreos. Refrigerate until firm. Enjoy! (I like to dip them in melted chocolate or white chocolate instead of just rolling in the crushed oreos, but make sure they are refrigerated first or they will get all funky when you dip them)

    - Spinach Artichoke Dip -

I did the half block of cream cheese instead of the mayo and we served it with sourdough bread chunks, sooooo yummy!!!

Can't go wrong with a fresh veggie / cheese plate / fresh fruit plate.

Mini twice baked potatoes! Bake a bunch of the little potatoes, cut them in half and then scoop out the insides leaving about 1/4 inch of potato on the skins. Mix up the potatoes you scooped out with whatever you like (sour cream, cheese, chives or green onions, bacon, salt/pepper, etc) and then put the mixture back into the potatoes. You can add a little more cheese on top if you want. Stick them back in the oven and heat through. Yummy!

    - Mini Pumpkin Cheesecake with Gingersnap Crust -

Never had them but they are so cute and look really yummy :)

Hope you have fun at your party!

Mix a block of cream cheese with half a jar of jalapeno jelly. It needs to be spreading consistency but not too moist. Spread this on flour tortilla. Add chopped black olives and chopped green onions. Roll up and slice into wheels.

artichoke dip with chips- yum! Especially homemade. Pigs in a blanket are classic. Vegetable dipping platter. Um, deviled eggs, or maybe some delicious vegetable skewers. Depending on how creative you want to get, there are tons of options.
