car starts then stalls immediately?

i have a 1995 ford escort lx 1.9l. i was driving home and the car started to act like it was out of gas, then it stalled tried to start it back up and it would not fire. cycled key a few times and it started ran for about 6 miles then did it again. this time it would fire run for few seconds really rough and stall. had it towed home. i know a little about mechanics so i have tried to fix it. i replaced crank sensor, pcv valve and tubing, and the IAC (idle air control valve) thinking that one of these would be the problem seens how back when i bought the car there were codes for the IAC TPS and MAS. I did a fuel pressure test as well pressure was okay, fuel pump is working as well. I replaced the timing belt and tensioner approx. 400 miles ago. Just did a head gasket, replaced thermostat and gasket, intake gasket, manifold gasket and egr gasket all about 200 miles ago. everything was fine until today. The only sensors i have not replaced is the MAS and the TPS. I can not find any vacuum leaks, and no wires are unhooked. i need some help here its got me stumped.

Update:

i checked all relays and fuses all test good. just swapped the tps and no good still doing it. only thing left be the MAS

Update 2:

Well the new pump i put in it died. So i got another and it came with a different harness with fuses the previous did not i suspect this to be part of the problem thanks to all car is now running strong

Sounds to me like your timing jumped a few teeth. I would re-check the timing belt and make sure your timing marks are still lined up right. If that checks out, do a compression test on the cylinders. My second guess after the timing would be the crank sensor, but I see you replaced that already. Next after that, would be to test the MAF sensor. A simple way to semi-test it is to unplug it and see if the car runs any better.

check the eec relay, the fuel pump relay and the egr position sensor (if the escort has one) i would start with a new tps and check the mas as well. tps can cause that as can the iac, eec relay, fuel pump relay, egr position sensor and mas.

the coil can do that, especially if it,s getting too hot and breaking down.

in case you dont have a verify engine mild on, both your battery died or lost pc memory, it truly is going to relearn your idle yet takes a at the same time as. in the journey that your verify engine mild works and is on, thier is a controversy that desires treated and idle will not in any respect relearn.
