How do I turn someone in for animal cruelty when I do not have their address?
I called animal control in my area and they told me that they could not go out to a home without the exact address. I do not have an address, but can give exact directions, but they said this would not work. I do have a phone number and a name. Is there anything I can do to help these poor animals?
The phone numbers I have are both cell numbers.
One is a woman who has cockatiels that are out in a block building with little or no heat. Some are sterile and some have plucked all of their feathers I think both are due to malnutrition. The other is a neighbor down the road who breeds dogs. He recently had a dog with a broken bottom jaw. When I asked him why he didn't take it to a vet he said it would cost too much. So I asked him why he didn't just shoot it and stop making it suffer. He said it would eventually starve itself to death and he wouldn't have to waste a bullet on it. Some of his other dogs were on concrete and never had a chance to be on grass or dirt. And some were up in cages and never set foot on the ground. I hate it when people mistreat animals!

If you know where they live, call animal control/police down there and then show them the houses. Or you could look up their name in the yellow books and see if you can get their phone number:] Good luck!=P
P.S. I hate it to when people mistreat animals! :[

Follow the directions and get the street and house number. Then double check by backtracking the address using the phone number and name.
This is a good thing you're doing :) Thank you!

Crystal, you just keep trying. Call the police and make a report and insist someone does something! Tell animal control you want to speak to a supervisor and be tough! Tell them you'll call the media and tell them that you tried to tell animal control and could even offer directions and they wouldn't do anything! Tell them you're going to keep calling until something is done! Insist that the police do something. Speak to supervisors. Save our little friends. I hate people that are cruel to animals. Just keep bugging them and if they don't do anything, threaten to call the media and do it if they don't act.
