Mobile Phone Internet Access When Traveling?
Hi, I'm traveling to US and UK from Australia and want to access the internet while traveling on my mobile phone (iphone).
What are my best options?
I'm with Optus and can purchase a data pack from them - which i think is fairly expensive, I can also use free wifi spots when I'm overseas. What else can I do? Is there a prepaid data pack available to purchase while abroad?
I'm only talking about using the phone to access the internet, not for making calls.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey Chris,
An Optus data pack only allows you to use data whilst you're in Australia. Any usage overseas isn't included and will be charged on top of your plan.
If you're only wanting to use your phone for internet it might be best to pick up an overseas SIM card to use whilst roaming, you'll just need to make sure your handset is unlocked and compatible with the countries you're visiting.
If you'd like a hand with this you can send me your details here → http://yesopt.us/ID and I'll give you a buzz to discuss!
Hope this helps!
Cheers

Roaming costs additionally happen on records coverages while no longer working on wifi. And international roaming costs can cost ALOT greater then overuse costs. people have litterly had to hundreds of dollars with the aid of this.
