Questions to ask my boyfriend's parents?

I'm going to meet my boyfriend's parents after the new year and I was trying to think of questions to ask them that will lead to embarrassing stories. The best I've come up with is 1) What were his career aspirations and 2) How early on did he start showing his independent streak? We've been together a year and a half and I think he's "the one;" I just want to get as much "dirt" as he got from my family. : )

    What was he like when he was a teenager?

    Or, instead of asking, you could start your track of thoughts with something like this: "I've always wondered how the relationship between a son and a mother work."

    If they have any good features to their house like an exotic vase, or for the mom ask about her clothing.

    ask to look at old videos and photo albums :D they're bound to lead to some embarrassment x
