Yes in a sense, it's not just random people like waiters etc. who fight in them so much as "semi-professionals" (in the sense they earn money this way) thugs. Irish travellers (an ethic group once known as tinkers and with a lifestyle similiar to gypsies) run bare-knuckle fist-fighting rings as do other groups in the criminal underworld (they keep a book on the fight) In some ways the designated fight place near a school (typically park/ behind a building or whatever) is closer to fight club becuase random guys go there to throw down but mostly to settle a beef rather than totally randomly. But guys do just ask others guys for a fight to show off sometimes with no other issue. You hear rumors of this evolving into a "fight club" in some schools. I don't know when exactly it becomes a club - when it becomes more secretive and not just anyone can watch the fights? That would suck.

What, suburban terrorists? I sure hope not, but I think we would of heard of that.
Or do you mean the fighting for fun aspect? They are been "fight clubs" all through history since the beginning of time, way way before the book/movie came out. Many men love to fight. I think current society is breeding that even more than ever before, too.
So, that's a big yes. There's "fight clubs" everywhere. Perhaps not always as big as what you may have seen in the movie, but fight clubs none the less.

there's always nut jobs who think that such things are good ideas.
Not really a club thing but near every town has a bar that's known for brawling. And they have regulars and odd visitors too.

Yeah, underground groups of pathetic people who have no skill whatsoever illegally fighting and acting like they are so tough. Yes.

Yes, there are.
Stupidity knows no bounds, and seems to be contagious.
