"Wahane" (also spelt "Wahanne") is an alterative name for the Tama-Re compound in Putnam County, Georgia. This was demolished in 2005. It was built by the Nuwaubian cult - people who believe they are the orignal native Americans, however, most people think that this is a cult with false beliefs. Apparently, the word is a variant on the muskogee word "Wahali" (or "Wahalli") meaning south. The Nuwaubians have a set of holy texts which describe the end of the world as we know it happening in 2030 and the location of Wahane (or Tama-Re) has significance in this. Wahane is also called "the Golden City".
