    Could be.

Could ALSO be a sign of a blood clot, too-tight shoes, or a "slipped disk" injury.

GO TO THE DOCTOR AND FIND OUT FOR SURE!

Yes, it is scary. You need to discuss this with your doctor, he can rule out anything else. I have it in both feet, that is one reason I went to the doctor and was diagnosed type 2 diabetic. Your doctor may not know but there is help. I am taking an herbal antioxidant called Alpha Lapoic Acid. The bottle says take 2 capsules but I take 6, 2 at each meal. GNC has the easiest to swallow, but don't buy the time released, its to be taken on an empty stomach and is much more expensive. It will releave the pain and tingling, you may need less or more , try 4 then work up or down. hope this helps lol

Healthy eating is especially important to ensure that you get essential vitamins and minerals. Emphasize low-fat meats and dairy products and include lots of fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your diet.
