2 part question: funny poems or serious poems?
that was the first part, second part is is this funny poem good? i wrote it when i was 10 i still think its great but i have received no recognition for it. here it goes:
Horrible Harry would not eat his peas
even when his parents begged him please
he was shaking his head when he stubbed his toe
he yelled for help but his parents said no
he hopped and he hopped right out of the door
he hopped and he hopped right into the store
the store was full of knives on a shelf
he toppled the shelf onto himself
he screamed and he ran
right into a van
he was knocked out cold
as the story was told
his mom and his dad did not want him back
so he had to go live in a shack
at dinner one night
he screamed in such fright
at the sight of peas on the table
he wished he'd been able
to eat his peas
when his parents said please.

Pretty cool. I'm sure some people would think the knives part was a bit much for kids, I wouldn't, but... I'm a writer and a teacher. I really think you have an open door here for a children's book. It's a fun story and has a lesson in it. Seriously, I think you should consider promoting it that way. Maybe you or someone else can illustrate it too. I've read so many books to children and I could easily hold their attention with what you've written.

Lol for writing that when you were 10 that's pretty good I'd say it could become published and a classic. Loved the part about running into the shelf of knives.

The u . s . a . became into based with God and church as a typical area of it. to get rid of that's ludicrous despite if area of the team is nonbelieving. while the minority can overthrow the rights of a majority I commence thinking the beer has lengthy gone undesirable. everybody desires some thing or somebody to have faith in and God is common so take or go away yet do no longer take the alternative out of the palms of the folk to make a loose selection... stable day!
