To those of you who've seen MCR this year (World Contamination tour)?

I'm seeing them in April,

I was wondering what time you guys got there and how long the lines were?

I was planning on going around noon to a 7:00 show. I realise some people get there VERY early in the morning, but won't be able to do that unfortunatley.

Also, how bad was the crowd?

The place I'm going is all on the floor, no seats, and I'm very small lmao.. so, I'm hoping I won't get crushed and not be able to see...

I've never seen MCR at a concert, but I've seen them live at a braodcast. I've seen a lot of other concerts though.

They're pretty popular, so I'm guessing noon will be a good time to go. The earlier the better. Like you said, you shouldn't expect to be first in line. Bring things to entertain you while you stand, and make sure you don't have to pee.

As for inside the show, it honestly depends on how good the security is, but people WILL be shoving on the ground floor and a mosh might even start. The latest concert I went to was Neon Trees, and I was squished between multiple ugly, sweaty men the whole time... it was nasty. But as soon as the opening act was done and Neon Trees came out I lost myself in the music and didn't even notice the people around me. If you're one of those big MCR fans then you'll probably have the same experience, singing to every lyric and the top of your lungs and freaking out every time Gerard touches your hand or runs out into the audience. But being on the floor near the front is a great experience. Despite all the shoving you'll have a lot of fun.

Although I'm surprised a MCR concert doesn't have any seats... Sorry again that I haven't been to any of their concerts, I've just been to a lot of concerts of bands like them :)
