I'm feeling a little sad now that Christmas is over. Tips for getting out of the funk?

Yeah, I know it's not really a question. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions for bringing myself out of the "After-Christmas blues."

Well of course it depends on your interests but here are some ideas:

    1. Go through your presents and make use of them, whatever they are e.g. listen to CDs, watch DVDs, read books. do jigsaw puzzles, etc.

    2. Hit the sales and treat yourself to a couple of things that you would have liked to get for Christmas but didn't.

    3. Make the most of most people being off work/school and meet up with them for coffee/drinks/DVD watching/shopping, etc.

    4. Plan something fun for 2011 - a party, a day out, a holiday, etc.

    5. Have a pampering session - hot bath, bubbles, style your hair a new way, give yourself a manicure/pedicure - OR visit a spa for a massage/facial if you can afford it.

    6. Get your hair cut/coloured.

    7. Go for a walk and take photographs of the local scenery.

    8. Tidy your room/house and rearrange some furniture to make a new start for the new year.

    9. Make a mix tape/CD/playlist of your favourite songs from 2010.

    10. Ring/email a friend that you haven't spoken to in a long time.

Hope some of these suggestions help! :)
