Can I grow Napa cabbage in western North Carolina?

My wife insists that she has heard about it growing here but I haven't seen any.

You can grow Napa cabbage at the same time of year, and under the same soil conditions, as you grow broccoli, cabbage, kale, collards, Asian greens, and other brassicas. Probably spring and fall in western North Carolina. If you're up in the hills and on a north slope, you might even be able to grow it in the summer.

I do not see a zone listing in any of the things I found, but since it is used in eastern china there is a good chance that it will, it is a cool season crop go ahead and try it
