Why does "news" not tell us the news?
Have you noticed every Tea Party true leader has been dismissed and is no longer reported on? Have you noticed the GOPers like Boehner and McConnell have sold out on every issue in the Contract with America? Because I listen and watch alternative news, I hear things that are happening or have happened in Europe and the UK that affect the US that I don’t hear about here. Why? Why doesn’t our media give us News. I wonder what is happening that’s really important in the country or in the world when the national evening news spends untold amounts of time on Hollywood trash. What’s being covered up? Why don’t they report? I have come to beleive it is the government that controls the network news, but not just right or left, both and they're played against each other on purpose, but WHY? What's the agenda.
As for FOX news, I think they are simply the chosen controlled alternative to the other side. I think we’re being thoroughly bunked.

Jay, because I live near Canada, I get a lot of Canadian news, not NPR or FOX

Fox News is exactly like professional wrestling. There are good guys and bad guys and the good guys always win. There is no speck of truth in either it is all a show. The characters in both are very very good at what they do. In fact, that's all they are good at. Very shallow.

Yeah, that has been going on for a while, no democracy is a pure one. The only way you're going to hear the whole truth and every truth is to climb really high on the political ladder and if you're not rolling in excess money, so sorry Charlie.

I wuld like to know your source for claiming" every TEA Party true leader has been dismissed" The News folks may have thier own agenda, but when evidence is offered for proof, you gotta believe. FOX, tho not perfect, is the most credible. The way the liberal stations protrayed the TEA Party in the beginning, after they finally go around to noticing, was just slanderous. They've changed their tune a bit, but I don't forget so easily

All American News outlets are paid for by sponsors. The downer of this is that the news will report pretty much gets the highest ratings for the sponsors. Sponsors have commercials, and high ratings during those commercials = $$. A Downside of Capitalism unfortunately =[.
I like to get my news from BBC. (And yes, I am an American)

You can't report every single thing that happens in the world... I don't know what alternative news you're watching but these news like all news are edited and selected by people who in this case probably have a view close to yours so you like listening to them and crown them the real news, kinda stupid imo.
NPR is as bad as FOX, and its liberal.
