Blackberry Torch, iPhone 3gs, or Motorola Backflip?
I have a Torch and put an ad on Craigslist to see what I can get it traded for out of curiosity. I got an offer for $300, offer to trade for excellent condition iPhone 3gs (16gb), and an offer for a Motorola Backflip. I don't mind my Torch, but these offers have got me a little tempted. I hate that BlackBerry apps suck, but its not a huge dividing factor for me because I love having the physical keyboard and am worried if I switch to an iPhone that I will hate the touch screen keyboard. Whats the best deal? Thanks.
PS- I currently do not have a data plan because I used my mum's upgrade, but my sim. I currently use my home wifi

I have an iPhone and I wouldn't trade it for anything. You'll get use to the touch screen, you'll find that browsing the internet with touch-screen is very convenience, you also have more control. The apps for the iPhone are also tops, as they say, "There's an app for that" - and it's true. The one MAJOR flaw is that the ATT plan for iPhone is an *** rape and a half. Without a data plan, an iPhone loses most of it's function ability, it's really not that much fun without a plan. However, if you're willing to fork over $30 a month for data, I'd say it's worth it, depending on how much you love using the internet. Having instant access to emails, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace.. anything, is tops.
So, i'd say iPhone, because Blackberry sucks and Motorola? that's sooo retro...

the answer above is poor, since that person is apple infected...
Why you should really go for the iphone is:
Motorola:
the backflip is a hip- fashion-phone from Motorola. Motorola ISN'T in any way oldschool. The Droid-Series is brilliant and doesnt look at all like all the other Iphone lookalikes. That's also the point why you shouldnt get a, i call it rip off. Motorola hits the market with everything now seeing the droid sells well, but not every Motorola Android phone is good and worth buying.
With the Backflip you will get a special looking phone with average features.
Blackberry:
RIM (the blackberry system) is oldschool (if something needs to be oldschool). Blackberries work. They do what they are supposed to. Blaykberries are workers, not players =P The App market is small since when you got a business phone you don't really need much (well, it's not what i say).
So now, even me, hating Iphones, since they all look alike and are just useful when being jailbreaked (and with that illegaly changed), am telling you to pick the 3g. Older Iphones are thrown away right now. Everyone wants the Iphone4 whatever the cost. The 3g is fine in my opinion, it lacks a lot of stuff android got today but it's a really nice phone still.
so the logically best choice is the Iphone.

iPhone, however if you get a smartphone (torch or iPhone) they will automatically start to bill you 15 dollars for the data plan, you're going to have to get an unlocked phone off of eBay or something if you don't want a data plan.
