I can totally relate! My son was only 9 weeks old when I found out I was pregnant with #3! It was not planned, but very welcomed. They are a little under 11 months apart (he was born 4 weeks early). They actually don't play together as much as my middle son plays with my daughter (age 4). I think it's because she is older and knows how to play things on his level. I'm sure yours will be very close. Your first baby really won't be old enough to realize jealousy issues, so that's a plus! It is twice the work with two babies, but well worth it!

it would be much better raising them together than waiting till the older becomes 3 or 4 years and start all over again,it will be hard work but for a shorter period of time, good luck.

My two middle girls are only 13 month apart and out of 4 they are the ones that drive me nuts the most. Changed two sets of diapers, was teaching one everything and turning right back around within a few months to do it all again. They fight the most, they work as a team to get into things lol. It has its plusses I guess as they get older. Me and my sisters were all a year apart and were pretty close but it can be a long mission while they are young. You might want to cry sometimes but the older they get the easier- well prob until they are teens. Mine are almost 6, the ones that are close just turned 4 in november and 3 in dec, and 5 month old. It's getting easier! Good luck!!!

Well 2 of my children are 13 months apart and actually of my 3 children they are the closest , its so adorable they are 4 and turning 3 now and my son will hold my little girls hand he is very protective of his baby sister people mistake them for twins all the time...I actually think it was easier with them being so close all except for 2 in daipers and 2 still on the bottle.
My oldest is 6 so he is 2 yrs older than my second and they seemed much harder to take care of together my older was jealous , its nothing like that with my 2 youngest.
Also I am only 13 mos older than my sister so I always had somebody there to play with growing up and I actually don't remember ever being an only child...lol
So all in all in my experience its not that bad :)

PERSONALLY I don't have children, but my best friend had her baby girl and then concieved her second daughter just four weeks later. Her daughters are now happy, bubbly girls who are VERY close. People often mistake them for twins even though Ellie Jane is ten months older than Maria. They're best friends, even though they argue just like all other sisters :P Brian & Diana (their parents) said the first twelve months were hard, with a toddler in the terrible twos phase and a newborn baby, but after that things got easier. Congratulations and best of luck!

Hard work, I haven't been through it but my aunt has. She was pregnant at her 6 week checkup. It is hard but can be done.

Sorry, but GASP! That's CRAZY close together! Did you even wait the full 6 weeks before having sex again? Were you even done bleeding? Holy crap!
