If youre the Chicago Bears?
Do you play to win vs the packers and eliminate them from playoffs? Or rest your starters and run the risk of playing a divisional opponent with momentum in the playoffs?

Play to win. Despite their record, they are a tough team. You don't want to end up playing them in the playoffs.

For the Bears, nothing is better than beating the Packers. So, to eliminate them from the playoffs would be extra sweet. Play to win, baby!

Forget resting your starters. Look what happened to the Colts. They ended up losing to the Jets and ending the season 14-2. They later played the Jets in the AFC Championship game and had to struggle to win.

Resting your starters irks me. It's like 'icing the kicker' - it never works. Look at how many times the Colts finished 12-4 or 13-3, rested everyone in Week #17 and looked rusty as all hell in the divisional round. Football isn't like baseball where you can take a week or so off and come back on fire. Your body has become accustomed to training and playing hard every week and once you stop for rest, it's difficult to get that swagger back. Chicago can still technically get home field advantage if they win and Atlanta loses, so I doubt they would rest up anyway.
