Does anyone else have trouble hearing someone over the phone? What Ive noticed about myself, is that in person, I can hear everything a person is saying, but over the phone, I'm constantly saying "im sorry" or asking them to repeat themselves, its annoying for me and even more annoying for the person who I'm talking to, this is over landline and cellphone, I did notice when I close my eyes and concentrate I can make out words better, has anyone else had this problem? Or does anyone know the reason why? Also coincedently when people are talkng to me I tend to stare at their mouth.

Hello, I'm going to have trouble explaining this, but basically, I stare at people I know, and I forget who they are, like in what relation are they to me, for example, I was talking with my father at this house the other day, and I was completely aware that he was my father, but while he was talking to me, I didnt know who he was, and would fall into a deep though process of how he is another person but I was aware he was my father and had to keep telling myself that. Example 2, my gf met me at a bowling alley, and again, i knew who she was right away, but I found myself saying, who is this, is this my gf, yes that is my gf, and its so strange, I look at people that I know and feel like I forget who they are or what they are to me. So strange, has anyone else had something remotely similar happen to them, btw, im in my late 20s so i hope im not senile yet.
