Should I keep Gore or Blount?

Gore seems like a no-brainer, but hear me out. I'm in a 16 team, PPR league where we keep 2 players (Jamaal Charles is my first keeper). Since there are 16 teams, RB's are very valuable. There will be about 20 RB's who are keepers, so best available RB's in the draft will be Felix Jones, Mathews, Best, Grant, DeAngelo. I pick 10th, and I know that neither Gore or Blount will be there at 10 (the guy picking 8th LOVES Blount).

So Gore is great, but he'll be 28, his team stinks, his coach just got fired, and he's coming off of an injury (a very similar injury ended Bo Jackson's career). Blount, on the other hand, is young, hungry, and plays for an up-and-coming team.

Whichever guy I don't keep, I'll attempt to trade. So Gore would have a slightly higher trade-value right now. But would I be making a huge mistake in letting him go? I really don't want this guy who picks 8th to draft Blount, because I'll never hear the end of it if he does well.

Help me out. Gore or Blount?

I think LaGarrett Blount has shown huge potential in his rookie year. I think he production over the next few years will increase and keep in mind he is a young back. Stick with Blount, he won't let you down.

Gore is injured every year and misses time. With the uncertainty in SF (coaching, QB, I think I would trade Gore and keep Blount.

I voted Blount just from reading the title. Once an RB hits 28 and has a major injury, his stock starts to fall. I think Blount is primed for a huge year. Same with Best, especially in PPR. This guy is the real deal, in spite of turf toe.

I still think you should keep gore. Trade blount to the guy who loves him and get someone good in return like an elite wr. Gore is just too valuable and gets more oppurtunities while blount can be good, but he is pretty inconsistent.
