  • Should I keep Gore or Blount?

Gore seems like a no-brainer, but hear me out. I'm in a 16 team, PPR league where we keep 2 players (Jamaal Charles is my first keeper). Since there are 16 teams, RB's are very valuable. There will be about 20 RB's who are keepers, so best available RB's in the draft will be Felix Jones, Mathews, Best, Grant, DeAngelo. I pick 10th, and I know that neither Gore or Blount will be there at 10 (the guy picking 8th LOVES Blount).

So Gore is great, but he'll be 28, his team stinks, his coach just got fired, and he's coming off of an injury (a very similar injury ended Bo Jackson's career). Blount, on the other hand, is young, hungry, and plays for an up-and-coming team.

Whichever guy I don't keep, I'll attempt to trade. So Gore would have a slightly higher trade-value right now. But would I be making a huge mistake in letting him go? I really don't want this guy who picks 8th to draft Blount, because I'll never hear the end of it if he does well.

Help me out. Gore or Blount?

  • How do I get Cats out of my barn/garage?

I live in an old house, and we have a barn at the end of the driveway which is basically our garage. We don't park in it, but we use it for storage. The other day, the door was not shut all of the way, and my tenant spotted a cat and several kittens squeezing under the door.

Since then, I've been leaving the door open during the day, and shutting it when I get home from work at 6:00 PM. My hope was that they'd leave during the day, but not be able to get back in. I don't think it worked, because last night around midnight, I spotted a cat trying to come up my driveway. I kept cutting it off and scaring it away, but it would only cross the street and stare at me. It kept trying to come back, and eventually, I had to go inside. That cat was determined to get into my back yard, so I have to assume that it's the mother, and the babies are still in the barn.

What do I do? Should I look around in the barn, and try to find them? The barn is packed full of stuff, so that is going to be difficult. Or should I set cage traps, so that I can relocate them? How do I get these cats out of my barn?

  • How do I install a new electrical outlet and light?

We need to add a new electrical outlet and light fixture to a room in our house. I ran 12/2 wire from the basement to the room (on the 3rd floor). But now, I'm not sure how the outlet, light and switch will be connected. I would like the light to work off of the switch, but would prefer it if the outlet/receptacle would remain hot (however, it's not a big deal if that has to run off the switch)

I'm not totally inexperienced in these matters, as I install furnaces & air conditioners regularly, including all of the electrical work involved. I have also done a fair amount of simple wiring throughout the house, but have never connected multiple items together like this.

    Please advise.

  • Can I evict my tenants without cause in NY? They are on a month-to-month lease.?

I purchased my house (a duplex) in November of 2007, and my tenants were already living there at the time. They were on a yearly lease which expired and switched to a month-to-month some time ago. I would now like to ask them to move out, because I have a friend willing to pay more rent. Am I correct in my understanding that, since they are month-to-month, I can evict them without cause in NY? Thanks!

  • What should I drink tonight?

I'm going over my buddies house tonight, and I can't decide what to drink. I love beer, and not just the typical American domestics (my favorites are Leinie's Sunset Wheat, Original Flag Porter, Young's Chocolate Stout or Rohrbach's Scotch Ale). I also like liquor. Usually Captain & Coke (or Admiral Nelson...haha), SoCo on the rocks, or Dew-Drivers (Mtn. Dew and Vodka).

I just can't decide what to drink tonight. I don't want to get wasted b/c I have to drive home (about 5 minutes away on the same road, but still) and I have to work tomorrow.

    So what should I drink?
