Ramadan: Someone tell me if it is really haram?
Someone tell me if it is really haram to arch or shape your eyebrows? I've heard that it's haram because you are changing your appearance and not accepting the way that Allah swt has created you. So haram or not? Does anyone know? Please give authentic hadith or ayahs

look,say you have a unibrow
the unibrow part (the part between the brows) doesn't count as your actual eyebrow
so you can for sure pluck that
on the other hand, making your eyebrows thinner/shaping the arch differently/filling it or tattoing it is haram
but the hair that grows under the natural arch/eybrow shape (like you can tell it is separated from your actual natural eyebrow) is ok to pluck
it is actually recommended to every 40 days

No offense, but your religion is so theoretical in nature, not based on experience. Those days, eyebrow makeup was not invented, so how can there be a verse written saying it as haraam. Although any cleric may release a fatwa about it.

Plucking of women’s eyebrows is not permissible, it is the namas for which the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) cursed the one who does it. The naamisah is the one who does it for someone else and the mutanammisah is the one who asks someone else to do it for her (as mentioned in the hadeeth). The same applies if a woman does it for herself. It is haraam and is not permitted.

i remember a hadith that said "Allahu yel3an al namisa wa almutanamisa"....alnamisa is the plucking of the eyebrows and almutanamisa is the one who plucks others eyebrows. it is haram based on this hadith...Allah curses the woman who does this. you are not only changing your appearance but trying to more perfect it when Allah made u perfect as you are...also, it is more of a way to attract the opposite sex when al-hijba is supposed to be worn for the opposite. Allah knows best sis

I go to a mosque and their is a religious teacher there. She has the biggest eyebrows ever. But some how they're 'clean.' I don't think it's haram to clean around your eyebrows. It's not really changing your appearance, only accesorizing it and helping it to appear more feminine :]
Hope I helped!
