Friendship Bracelet help!?

There is a picture on this website http://www.planetpals.com/IKC/peacebracelet.html of the friendship bracelet I want to make, I just cannot figure out what the pattern is called. It's the picture in the middle of the page next to the words Basic Techniques.

    A braid???

    It's pretty simple to make if you know how to braid hair hunn

    ok theres 5 srings theres 2 sets of 2 and 1 single string you take then and just braide them

    That's called braiding.
