Hey, Jacob black, first you will need a BN.com account to register your new NOOK. If you do not already have a BN account, create one on their web site. If you have an existing BN.com account, be sure you have a default credit card and billing information saved in your account. Sign-in to your account to manage your Credit Card.

You MUST register your NOOK over Wi-Fi (I understood you got Wi-Fi-only one and cannot do it through PC).

NOOK Set-Up Steps

1. Charge your new NOOK 3G or NOOK Wi-Fi for 3-hours from a wall outlet using the Power Adapter and USB Cable packed at the bottom of your NOOK box.

2. Turn on your NOOK by pressing the power button at the top.

3. Connect to Wi-Fi. Connect automatically and for free at any Barnes & Noble bookstore, all AT&T hotspots or use your home Wi-Fi.

4. NOOK 3G owners may also check for 3G wireless connectivity.

5. Register your device by entering your BN.com account email.

6. Tap the down arrow button in the lower right corner of your color touchscreen.

7. Enter your BN.com password.

8. Tap Submit

9. Read the Tour offered on your NOOK to learn more

eBooks that you previously purchased from BN.com are automatically delivered to your online digital library a short time after you register your NOOK. The 5 most recently purchased eBooks that were purchased within the last 30 days prior to registering your NOOK are also delivered to your NOOK. You can download the others to your NOOK or just leave them in your online digital library. Other eBooks purchased from BN.com are not automatically downloaded to your NOOK. You can download them manually from My B&N Library, or just leave them in the online digital library. They will be there to download in the future.
