Are these the variables?

I'm doing the science project, "Can you tell if someone is lying by body langauge?"

i'm asking my volunteers questions and seeing, when they lie, what kind of movements they make.

So the independant variable would be the questions im asking and the dependant variable would be my volunteers' body language/movements correct?

sense an independent variable is a factor that can be varied or manipulated in a experiment/ what u the experimenter uses to do your experiment so... i would like to think that the independent variable is the would be the people and the dependent would be the question the dependent variable is what changes when the independent variable changes. be advised there can be more that one dependent variable.

Sometimes, but body language can "lie" or be misleading, too
