Is it sad (nba.com poll)?

on nba.com, there was a poll asking "what was the bigger moment of 2010, lebrons decision or the lakers winning their 2nd in a row?"

lebrons decision has like 58% of the vote..

i understand it was a big deal, but isnt a championship the whole point of even having the sport around? i feel like nothing is bigger than a championship, especially not a player changing teams.

Well it is the "bigger moment". Their was so much hype years of talking about where he was going. Like the guy said everyone knew about lebron decision. I hate the lakers, but them winning it all was great beating boston in a game 7, but the hype and dumb *** Cleveland reaction make people over look it. Plus its more talked about.

Well its a big moment, but LeBron joining the Heat basically changed the whole landscape of the NBA for years to come. Long term that story is way bigger than the Lakers wining a title (sadly).

Lol @ first asnwer, Lebrons decision was bigger in my opinion, not trying to hate but are you a laker fan?

  • I think it is sad that everyone forgets about KOBE. everyone is so mean to him, the triple team him talk crap about him and everytging so i think he does deserve another championship. And the Lakers winning back to back is the biggest moment because everyone doubted him and the said he couldnt do it without Shaq

a 2nd consecutive championship over a team with one starter who was out injured and another starter who had a bad knee, or the 2 time reigning MVP switching teams to another team with another top 3 player and an all star. hmmm
