What subject should I teach in?
This fall I will be a freshman in college. I have thought long and hard but cannot come to a decision. I have narrowed it down to either a math or history teacher. I don't have time in college to figure out which subject because I will be doing the accelerated program to get both my Master's and Bachelor's in four years. I also would like to teach at the high school level. I was just looking for any opinions or advice in general from anyone. Thanks!

Math! There is a shortage of math teachers in the U.S. There is such a shortage that your schooling may be paid for (or loans forgiven) if you teach math. Please look at Department of Education's website for detailed information.

Well, what are you interested in? Seriously - if you're just going "Meh" when you're in a math or history class, what do you think you'll be like when you're in front of the class? The best teachers I've ever had were people who genuinely loved their subject. They didn't just enjoy it; they LOVED it, and they lived to teach their passion to others. I'll remember those teachers until the day I die, simply because they had such a profound impact on me. The ones who just stood there and read from the book, not so much.

You should teach Advanced Algebra in a highschool. The reason you should do this is because, you get paid a nice check, the hours are good, and its fun. I love teaching math, and the time flies by.

You ended your question with a preposition, so forget English as your best subject.
Math is more marketable. You don't seem like you have any real passion for either so you'll probably be mediocre at best in either area. Teaching is more than just disseminating facts.

You could take an aptitude test to see which subject you are most gifted in.
