iPod 5th generation and iPod 6th generation?

Hello! I left my iPod to wash in the washer (accidentaly) and then in the dryer. I put it in rice, however I am afraid it will not work again. So what is your opinion?which one is better? which should i consider..the 5th generation or 6th? What are the differences between the two?? can the 6th generation carry apps? Thanks!(:

Assuming you mean the iPod nano line, there are major differences between the fifth generation and sixth generation iPod nano models in design in addition to features. Most notably, the sixth generation model does not support video playback or have a video camera like the fifth generation, although there are other differences as well. The sixth generation has a limited number of "apps" pre-installed, but it cannot run apps for the iPod touch.

An in-depth comparison may also be of interest for all the differences:

well for 5th and 6th nano - i like the 5th more than the 6th because the 5th can have music and apps when the 6th can only have music but multi-touch like the ipod touch. go to www.apple.com/ipod/compare-ipod-models/ for more help and info - i have the ipod touch 4th gen. and i love it - its like the iphone with no contract.
