Who else is a good historical romance author?
I have been reading historical romance novels for years, but I have read all of the books of the authors I like and was looking for some suggestions of who else to read. I like authors such as Sabrina Jefferies, Johanna Lindsey, Connie Mason, Kathleen Woodiwiss. I have being reading Teresa Meideros and Julia London and they are just ok. I'm looking more along the lines of the authors I mentioned before. So any suggestions? Thanks

I guess you should try
Julia quinn (the bridgerton series is a must read)
Eloisa James ( well anything by her, the pleasure series,
Lisa kelypas (my absolute favorite and her historicals are never to be missed, the wall flower series, the hathways, and my favorite historical of all time : dreaming of you)
you should also try Elizabeth hoyt (prince triology, and the legend of the four soldiers quartet)
there are also Loraine Heath
Lorretta Chase
Jenne Petersen
Mary Balogh
Judith Mcnaught

Thanks for giving us a list of authors you love and authors you're not crazy about.
If you like Connie Mason, you might also like Kathy Eagle. She's fantastic; her heroes are mostly Native American.
If you like Woodiwiss, you might also enjoy Rosemary Rogers' famous Sweet Savage Love. (Another 70s classic.)
LaVyrle Spencer has some historical romances you might enjoy. And I've never met anyone who read Lisa Kleypas and didn't love her books. She does both historical and contemporary.
http://www.likesbooks.com/ has romance reviews. DIK stands for Desert Island Keepers. If you go to the review search and look for those books, you'll get reviewers' all-time top favorites, with explanations attached.
Have fun!
