how long have you been answering questions on yahoo?

I've been doing it for about a week now. I guess I like helping people, but sometimes I just answer them for points (stupid yet addicting), Why do you do it?

Three years or so, I used to be a top contributor but lost interest. It depends on my mood. Most people just want an affirmation of their own ideas, or some questions are just ridiculous because the person could easily find the information themselves. I stay a bit on the off chance that I could really have some life experience or knowledge that could really give someone insight into an issue that they might not be exposed to on their own. If the question is too wacky but strikes me right I can be just a smart-a-s-s

Ive been on answers for 2 years, im not a top contributor yet because my account has been deleted twice for very stupid reasons. I have basically done it to help people and sometimes because im bored, another reason you left out is because i like seeing what society has to say and what their opinions are on a certain subject and so your not sheltered from whats going on. Then again sometimes i just love to see people make fools of themselves with stupid question. Yahoo answers gives you a better view of people like you and what goes on with them, and it gives you a chance to use your knowledge to help them. I really enjoy yahoo answers but i think they shouldnt be as strict in their banning policies because i didnt ask anything inappropriate or used bad language and they just banned me. Hope that answered your question and BTW on my old account i had 9,000 points :)
