Are pirelli tyres one of the best out there?
I'm buying 4 new tyres for my 4/4 and am going shopping around local garages,they all insist there brand if tyre is the best bridgestone hankook etc! One salesman reckons pirelli bts these big brands so am just wondering what's best

Not sure where you have been living for all these years, but Pirelli has always been one of the leaders of performance tyre manufacture for decades.
More designed for sports cars than 4x4's though.

as an everyday tyre I found Michelin superior to pirelli during the winter snow.

what is your main purpose for your vehicle? commuting on paved roads? weekend autocross? dirt roads? etc...
that should be the main factor in determining what type of tyres to buy...

dont know what country you are in but in the uk they are not often used on 4x4s..though they are a great tyre ..best lasting tyre i have found was GOODYEAR..

There are plenty of good tires out there but it all depends on what your needs are, which we don't know because you have not told us.
