02 Ford Ranger stalling out?
Ok so here's the deal. My check engine light came on a while back and it was giving codes for lean running in bank 1 and 2. I drove it like this fine for a while. I know I shouldn't, I just didn't have any money to fix it. It started idling really rough, jumping from 400 to almost 1000 rpm suddenly and repeatedly at a stop. The car would literally jump forward and back. If I let it idle long enough, say in a drive through, it stalled out. Acceleration was sluggish and starts were rough off the line. I came into money recently so I checked it out. I cleaned up the MAF sensor really well and started it back up. The check engine light is off for now without me having to reset it. She idles fine now for about a minute or two and then stalls out. Any ideas what this could be?
