First open PowerPoint, not the pps file. Do not open the pps from Windows Explorer.

With PowerPoint open, click File - Open and then select the pps. It will now behave as a PowerPoint Presentation and you will be able to edit it and select specific slides.

Go to the slide you want to print and then press Control+P in the keyboard. A window will pop up regarding the printing. Before you hit the OK/Print button on the window select the option Current Slide and then choose number of copy you want it to print. :)

Go to that slide and when you hit print, there is a selection in the print window to print current slide.
