When you buy things in the armory, you spend your credits. Once you bought the armor piece, visor color, or any other thing, its permanent. You keep that item forever. You can still earn credits through multiplayer matches or challenges/commendations. When you Rank up(not the grades), the message says you unlock new armor in the armory. You can go check them out but if I were you, I would save the credits for the more valuable armor which is in commander, colonel, brigadier, and general. You unlock gold visor at Lt. Colonel, Carter's armor at Commander, and other things like Jorge's chest with collar, Cat's arm, emlie's helmet, Master Chief's helmet, and many more.
So the main thing is that no, once you bought something, you keep it forever but you spend your credits on it.

No, you won't , to the contrary, you'll have more credits.
