is heat shrink tubing safe in gasoline?

electrical heat shrink insulator is it ok to use in gasoline

    I'm getting this very scary thought that you are considering using it to seal or connect fuel lines - not a good idea under any conditions.

    NO!

    Electrical Connections must never be made / repaired in the fuel tank!

    Replace the entire pick up, level sensor and pump assembly!
