Why is there water coming out of my V reg Golf?

    probbaly cylinder head gasket, or cylinder head problem if water is coming out of exhaust.

    if it comes out of exhaust and never needs filling up? then it is condensation and a common problem in cold weather and high idling times.

    if from filler cap ? or can be traced back to engine bay then suspect a failed cylinder head gasket ( will need to be topped up frequently) get a quote form at least two garages to sort it as it can get expensive as both new oil + filter and fresh antifreeze mix plus parts will be needed. ensure there is a form of guarantee with the work.

    How about air conditioner? If you run your air conditioner, water will come out the bottom after you turn the car off.
