Hi,
It definitely could have something to do with it and it can be used as evidence against him. I think I am allowed to suggest this - go onto youtube and find the videos by mentalhealthhelpuk. They are two English girls in Paris called Amy and Danielle who make videos about their experiences with mental health problems. One of them has been in a very similar situation to you and I think it would help you to watch her story and some of their other videos.
Hope this helps and good luck

Yes you should mention it because it think it has played a part to what lead you to become a bilimic in the first place. If you were abused while young, physically, then there is a 87% percent chance that you were abused verbally no? Then these feelings, these negative feelings may have caused you to become that. Whether it was that you didn't like how your body was or how you look. You should also mention it because it shows that your father has abused you more than just beating you but has lead you to have problems mentally as well...

of course he should pay for his bad treatment of you, the insecure, unstable and abusive environment you grew up in as a child had its manifestation in your stressful relationship with food which you now as an adult should address and chose to end.
