kk so right about 1 mounth ago i got my drivers liscense easy enough right. Now my grandmother says that i am not at all allowed to drive by myselve for 6 mounths and i can't convince her otherwise. I live in indiana. now my question is can someone here give me the BMV site on this or anything. i know how to get to it yes but i can't find the exact rules. anything you can help me with would be very appreciative

site listed below. I dont see any restrictions based on age or new driver. Your grandmother is probably just being careful.

Did you get your drivers' license or your learner's permit? You have to have an learner's permit for about 6 months before you can get your driver's license. If you are 16-17 years old, your driver's license is probationary. There are additional restrictions on a probationary license such as not being allowed to have passengers except certain family members and persons who have an Indiana driver's license and are over 25 years old.
