My only question is can you wash and dry all parts of the machine that the candy will touch? If yes, go ahead. Wash well and get it completely dry, cut the fondant, wash it well and dry properly and completely and go back to scrapbooking or whatever it was you bought it for.
I use a pasta machine to roll the fondant out. It helps a lot. Then if I had one of those cricut things I would use it for cutting the rolled fondant.
Note: I bought the pasta machine to roll clay for button making!!! Never got around to the button making after the machine came.

My simplest question is can you wash and dry all parts of the computing device that the candy will contact? If sure, go ahead. Wash well and get it utterly dry, reduce the fondant, wash it good and dry appropriately and utterly and go back to scrapbooking or something it used to be you purchased it for. I take advantage of a pasta laptop to roll the fondant out. It helps loads. Then if I had one of those cricut matters i'd use it for slicing the rolled fondant. Be aware: I bought the pasta desktop to roll clay for button making!!! By no means bought around to the button making after the laptop came.
