What are your two favorite cookie recipes ...one with pecans & the other one with walnuts?

My family calls these 'Magic Cookie Bars', but they're also known as Hello Dolly's. They use both pecans and walnuts... but you can use whatever nut(s) you like.

I learned this recipe from my Mom, and she unfortunately doesn't believe in a measuring cup lol.

1. Mix butter and graham cracker crumbs together to form a crust - press into a greased cake pan.

2. Cover with coconut (we use shaved, but any kind works) and chocolate chips.

3. Layer nuts on top (we always use a mixture of walnuts and pecans).

4. Pour sweetened condensed milk over everything (1 full 14oz can for a 9x13 dish).

5. Bake at 350F for about 20-25min or until the top is slightly browned. Let cool and then cut into squares.

I've seen quite a few variations to it including using butterscotch or peanut butter flavoured chips, or even M&Ms. They're delicious and don't last very long whenever she makes them.

I like Mexican Polverones cookies with walnuts and Turtle bars with pecans.
