How can i make my sons cough go away?

My son catches some kind of nasty coughs and cold everytime he goes to daycare. We use cool mist humidifier. Not the Vicks kind, just basic for $15. Along with that I use BabyVicks, Little Nose Saline drops to help loosen gunk to suck it all out. Do that at least half a dozen time a day.

My son has that 2. We have been to the peditrician several times for this same cough. First time they prescribed amoxicillian b/c he delevloped in ear infection b/c of all of the congestion. my son goes to daycare and they said these cold are common. 2nd time we took him they prescribed Cefindir and his cough seems to be better

Try this

a vaporizer for his room

steam the bathroom and sit in there with him

Vapor bath

saline drops for the nose

baby vicks vapor rub

Take him to the health department. Any cough that has been around for 3 weeks needs to be checked out. You don't want it turning into bronchitis or pneumonia.

boil water and add some balm in it.. and ask ur son to inhale it through mouth.. after few minutes he will feel like vomit and all the cough and mucus will come out through vomit..

and u can also try him giving black pepper (grind it) with honey.. but above one is more helpful..

Why did they recommend a pain reliever for a cough??

i agree w/ cayla, that cough has lasted too long. when u cough for that long it affects the lungs. go see a doctor, please.
